1973 Simson kr 51/1 Schwalbe
Simson Schwalbe 50, almost impossible to find stateside. GDR built east block 3 speed small displacement motorcycle with a cult like following. Original paint has been meticulously uncovered and preserved. Shocks are 50mm lower front and back for a more aggressive look. Chassis wise the bike is in phenomenal condition.
The engine has been vapor blasted and rebuild using ZT-Tuning Stage 2 kit, now sporting 11hp output at 75cc with a original look expansion chamber exhaust. Hidden power. New fuel system, 12V CDI ignition and battery powered lights, with a flawless charging system. Fresh tires and an upgraded duplex double arm front brake drum (small series production). Bike has been professionally built here in house/
The bike is great fun and unique and most definitely a head turner. Currently being ridden weekly.
