If you have an existing disc brake system for your Vespa, be it on a PX or a Stella, or you are building a custom bike with a disc brake conversion, routing your brake line is one of the trickier jobs to do. On a stock Vespa PX, Genuine Stella or LML scooter, the brake line is routed along side the wiring and cables in the headset, overcrowding the existing space which can lead to, especially with Stella and LML wiring, pinched and chafed electrical wiring, shorts in the electrical system and cables under unnecessary tension.

This is why we at That Scooter Shop exclusively choose the braided Spiegler Performance Brake lines. With a small modification, slightly enlarging your hole above your speedo cable on your fork tube. you can route the line through your fork stem into your headset, freeing up much needed space for wires and cables.

Braided brake lines improve your brake performance by reducing swelling, which is a common issue on rubber brake lines. We have extensively tested on the track as well as on and off the road and developed a kit that makes assembly easy and provides you with a major braking upgrade.

The PX or PK fork are ridden with three length combinations. The brake line length depends on the fork and the modifications do to it. You will be asked at checkout to pick your length dependent on the fork as well as your colors. A stock fork would require the length for a 245mm shock, a shortened fork for 205 or 185mm shock, dependent on your setup.
