Before shipping, make sure to send us pictures and to purchase a shipping label. We have a very good shipping rates and will share them with you.

Once here, your Vespa engine will be completely disassembled, and all parts will be ultrasonically cleaned and inspected. Following a detailed engine inspection, an estimate with parts that are due to be replaced and labor cost, depending on the nature of the project will be sent to you. 

The standard engine rebuild price will include any labor needed to clean and re-assemble your engine. You will be quoted additional labor fees to rebuild your original crankshaft, bore or re-plate your cylinder, recondition your cylinder head any machining that may be required and/or any port, polishing and performance related work. 

Due to the nature of vintage scootering, high performance engines and the fact that part manufactures do not warranty their parts, engine rebuilds do not include any warranty of any type expressed or implied. This is precisely why we have set forth procedures to ensure that no small part of the engine rebuild, or performance service is overlooked. 

As such, we will quote you a package of replacement parts deemed necessary to get your engine out of the door as smoothly running as possible. These packages vary depending on engine type, but can be roughly estimated around the 200$ mark. Click here for details.

If you are looking for a performance build with porting and timing work, those services are NOT included in this package. Please refer to the following links for said services.

Turnaround time varies depending on the job and availability of parts. Most engine rebuilding jobs will be completed within 1-2 weeks due to the proximity to our parts suppliers, however some special operations may take longer due to parts availability and/or special machine work. 

Once completed, your engine will be completely cleaned and then rebuilt to factory specs or with the modifications that you specified. Every engine will be bench tested or road tested if possible. 

Upon completion can be either picked up or we will safely pack your engine for shipping and calculate the return shipping. A final invoice will be created, and upon complete payment the engine will be shipped back to you. The inspection fee will be deducted from the final invoice.
