The dreaded early Vespa V90 motor is a prime example of how to make tuning an engine as fickle as possible. The OEM 90cc cylinder skirt was of a smaller diameter than most cylinders nowadays. In order to get the upgrade to 125+cc (or even 170cc) we machine the base open with specialized tooling to open up all the possibilities to bring the the old motor into the 21st century.
